The symptoms that cervical hypertrophy brings to patients after the onset of the disease are generally increased vaginal discharge and lower abdominal pain. They do not have obvious characteristics, so they are easily ignored by themselves. Usually, this type of gynecological disease requires a series of gynecological examinations before it can be finally diagnosed. So what kinds of inspections should be carried out? Below I will introduce my experience in clinical medicine. 1. Liquid-based cytology test (TCT) examination: A screening cancer test. TCT can distinguish a large number of surface exfoliated cells to see whether there are bad cells or even some malignant cells inside the female cervix. 2. HPV-DNA testing: HPV infection is a necessary factor for the development of cervical cancer. Colposcopy can show surface lesions, but they are often in the late stages. Therefore, the use of HPV-DNA testing can detect and treat cancer in its early stages. 3. Cervical smear test: Cervical hypertrophy is traditionally screened for cervical diseases by cervical smear. However, due to many objective conditions, the false positive rate of a single cervical smear is high. Therefore, if cervical smear is used alone to screen for cervical disease, the test results must be negative for more than three consecutive times before a diagnosis can be made. 4. Hysteroscopy: A colposcope is a magnifying glass equipped with a powerful light source. Since it can magnify the lesions 10 to 40 times, it can observe slight lesions on the cervical epidermis that are invisible to the naked eye. With the aid of 3% to 5% acetic acid solution, it can distinguish whether the changes in cervical cells are benign or malignant. Biopsy under colposcope positioning can increase the positive detection rate and assist clinical early detection of precancerous and cancerous changes. The four examination items mentioned above can play a positive role in the diagnosis of cervical hypertrophy. Therefore, when female friends suspect that they have abnormal reactions to the disease, they should go to the gynecological clinic in time for examination item by item. If necessary, they should take drug treatment on time to prevent misdiagnosis and mistreatment. |
