A welcome kit is a small introduction to how a company treats people. It works best when each item has a purpose and the details feel intentional. A notebook with a carefully placed name, a useful bottle and a short welcome message can tell a clearer story than a large box of unrelated objects.

Start with the recipient's first week. An office-based colleague, a remote employee and someone joining a field team may need different things. The gift should support that experience instead of simply filling a standard package.

Decide what belongs in the kit

Choose one main item and one or two supporting pieces. For a desk-based role, a notebook can anchor the set. A bottle may suit a team that moves between meeting rooms or work sites. A tote can serve as both a gift and a convenient way to carry the contents.

Before adding another item, ask when the person will use it. Keep practical onboarding documents separate from decorative inserts so that important information is easy to find. If recipients have different needs, offer a small choice of useful items while keeping the visual presentation consistent.

Give the logo and the name different jobs

The company logo identifies the giver; the recipient's name makes the gift personal. They do not have to compete for the largest position. Ask for a layout showing a modest logo and a clearly readable name, with actual decoration dimensions rather than only a full-page mockup.

Create a name list with one recipient per row. Include the exact spelling, preferred name and any accents. Give one person responsibility for checking the final list. A name correction sent in a separate chat can be missed if the approved file still contains the old spelling.

Keep the welcome message specific

A short printed card can explain why the items were chosen and who to contact during the first week. Avoid a long corporate statement. A genuine note from the manager or team gives the package a more direct connection to the person opening it.

For an illustrative kit, the card might introduce the notebook as a place for first-week questions and the bottle as a companion for daily breaks. This is a planning example, not a fixed Deeho bundle or included service.

Plan the handover as carefully as the contents

Confirm whether kits go to one office or to individual addresses. Ask how personalized items will be identified inside closed packages and how the packing list will match the recipient list. Share only the delivery information needed for the project.

  • Confirm the final number of recipients and any spare undecorated items.
  • Approve one complete layout, including the longest name.
  • Check product, decoration and packing costs separately.
  • Confirm the target arrival date and the approvals needed before production.
  • Keep the accepted product and artwork references for future starters.

A useful welcome kit can become a repeatable program, but each new batch still needs a fresh name check, current availability and an agreed delivery plan.
