Tumors are very common diseases. This type of disease is very harmful to your health. Once you have a tumor, you must improve it in time, otherwise it will affect all aspects of your body. Many people don’t know about vaginal papilloma. The cause of this disease is relatively complicated, and the treatment also takes a long time to control the disease. What are the treatments for vaginal papilloma? Treatment of vaginal papilloma: 1. Surgery Local excision is the main approach, but the range is slightly wider, 0.5 to 1 cm outside the lesion. If the tumor is not completely removed, it may recur after surgery. During surgery, a frozen section examination is performed. If malignancy is confirmed, a more extensive vulvar excision should be performed. 2. Laser treatment For pedunculated papilloma, use skin clamps to clamp the larger protruding tumor, focus the CO2 laser and cut along the base. For broad-based larger papilloma, the laser blade outputs laser parallel to the vulvar skin and cuts along the base. Direct laser vaporization of smaller papillomas. Differential Diagnosis Typical papilloma and condyloma acuminatum are sometimes difficult to distinguish clinically. It should also be differentiated from vulvar flat warts and early vulvar cancer. 1. Vulvar flat warts Vulvar flat warts are secondary syphilis rashes that occur on the genitals and anus. There are generally three types, namely simple, ulcerative and hypertrophic. The lesions initially appear as clusters of red, soft, flat papules. After certain stimulation, flat papules may become gray-brown, papular or nodular, often occur on the labia and perineum, and are easy to rupture. Treponema pallidum may be found in the secretions. Syphilis serology was positive. 2. Early vulvar cancer Vulvar cancer is a malignant tumor of the vulva, with an incidence of approximately 1% of all systemic malignant tumors and 5% of all malignant tumors of the female reproductive tract. Among them, primary squamous cell carcinoma is the most common, and secondary malignant tumors are rare. It often occurs in the labia majora, followed by the labia minora, vaginal vestibule and clitoris. First, local nodules or lumps appear, and gradually increase in size, become necrotic, ulcerated, and infected, with increased secretions, accompanied by itching and pain. The tumor may be papillary or cauliflower-like, with symptoms of pain and itching, prone to ulceration, and grow rapidly. It can also expand rapidly, affecting the anus, rectum, and bladder. Pathological examination can confirm the diagnosis, and the vast majority are squamous cell carcinoma. After understanding the treatment methods of vaginal papilloma, patients can choose some methods when treating vaginal papilloma. However, for the choice of drugs, patients should also follow the doctor's advice. Moreover, such disease treatment drugs are constantly updated every year, which is helpful to improve patients' diseases. |
