What happens if the fallopian tube is congenitally malformed?

Every loving couple hopes to have the fruit of their love, but in the urban life of the 21st century, there are more and more infertile patients. Many people say that this is caused by the environment, but in fact, internal physical factors also exist. The formation of a fertilized egg is the combination of an egg and a sperm. If either the sperm or the egg is not provided, a fertilized egg cannot be formed. So what will happen if there is a congenital malformation of the fallopian tube? The answer is self-evident.

How can the fallopian tube be blocked? The most common are salpingitis and tuberculosis infection. In particular, inflammatory infections after artificial abortion, delivery, surgery, urinary tract infections, sexual intercourse during menstruation, endometriosis, and severe appendicitis may also affect the fallopian tubes and cause them to become blocked, adhered, or accumulate water, resulting in fallopian tube obstruction. In addition, congenital malformations, fallopian tube dysplasia, twisting, dysfunction and polyps can all cause fallopian tube obstruction.

Treatment of tubal obstruction infertility requires comprehensive symptomatic treatment based on the patient's specific situation. Because of the physiological functions of the fallopian tube:

(1) Eggs and collection;

(2) egg transportation;

(3) The transport and activation of sperm. All these functions require the ciliary activity of the fallopian tube mucosa, peristalsis and discontinuous contractions in the fallopian tube. Sperm that enters the vagina has to go through many stages before conception can occur.

There are many methods to treat fallopian tube obstruction, such as: tubal hydrotubation, ventilation, intrauterine drug injection, oral medication, acupuncture and external treatment. For those with severe adhesions, "fallopian tube adhesion lysis", "fallopian tube anastomosis", "salpingostomy", etc. must be performed. Finally, by the way, don’t just use “hydrotubation” as the only treatment method. Repeated hydrotubation can cause more severe hydrosalpinx, uterine hypertrophy, water sacs in the fallopian tubes, and fallopian tube dysfunction, making infertility more complicated. In addition, because the fallopian tube hydrotubation is very painful for patients, patients who are sensitive to pain are very likely to suffer from false obstruction.

Even though we are not experts, we can know from the above knowledge that congenital malformations of the fallopian tubes can cause infertility. Treatment of diseases like this usually requires surgery, so I suggest going to a large hospital. The medical facilities in large hospitals are relatively high-level, and medical accidents are less likely to occur.
