How to treat vaginal candidal infection

How to treat vaginal candidal infection

As the name suggests, candidal vaginitis is an inflammation that occurs in the vagina, which can cause women to feel strong discomfort, itching or pain. It is different from ordinary inflammation because it makes the patient feel very painful. Because it occurs in the vagina, it is not easy to cure, but there is still hope for recovery. Patients with this disease do not need to worry, be afraid or anxious. We must try to have a positive and optimistic attitude and tell ourselves that my disease is easy to treat. Drink more water and take the treatment seriously. The most important thing is the mentality. If the mentality is good, everything will be fine. But it is different from ordinary inflammation, so let us understand it together.

If you suffer from candidal vaginitis, do not use medications at will. Some people go to the pharmacy to buy some lotions or suppositories to use. This may be effective at the time, but it cannot completely cure the disease. You need to go to the hospital for systematic treatment and observe for three months of continuous treatment. During the treatment period, it is best for both husband and wife to go to the hospital for treatment at the same time.

Candidal vaginitis is relatively difficult to cure. It mainly requires you to be patient and persist in using medications. It is best to receive treatment under the guidance of a doctor. It is recommended to take Diflucan orally and Canesten vaginally. Nystatin suppositories can also be used for vaginal treatment. During the treatment, keep the vulva clean and dry, avoid scratching which may damage the skin, avoid sexual intercourse, and sterilize underwear and washing utensils with boiling water to avoid cross infection and reinfection.

Candidal vaginitis is prone to recurrence. It is recommended to go to the hospital for a vaginal secretion examination to confirm the diagnosis. You can take the following orally: fluconazole, itraconazole; vaginally: miconazole suppository, clotrimazole suppository, nystatin suppository. It is recommended to prevent recurrent candidal vaginitis. If it first occurs, it should be treated thoroughly, maintain the physiological environment of the vagina, improve the local environment (lactic acid bacteria preparations), and ingest biological preparations or products containing lactic acid bacteria.

You can use 2% to 4% baking soda water to flush the vagina. After flushing, wipe the vulva dry and keep it dry to inhibit the growth of Candida. After flushing, you can insert the nystatin tablet deep into the vagina, or apply Daktarin ointment to the vulva at the same time. Pay attention to personal hygiene, change underwear frequently, avoid sexual intercourse during treatment, drink plenty of boiled water, eat more vegetables and fruits, and avoid spicy and irritating foods and greasy fried foods.

Through the above explanation, I believe everyone understands how to treat candidal vaginitis, so don’t be afraid, and don’t give up, it’s just difficult! But it can also be cured as long as we have the correct methods. I hope this will give everyone some confidence, and at the same time I hope it will be of great help to everyone, and everyone will definitely be able to recover.
