What causes vulva itching?

The hot summer is coming. In this passionate season, many female friends are a little restless. Why? It’s a bit embarrassing to say that the vulva is itchy. It’s really embarrassing when it occurs during work or daily interpersonal interactions. I don’t know what to do, and the more I scratch, the more itchy it becomes, and then it will cause infection. What is the reason for the itching of the vulva? Let’s talk about this issue today.

What causes vulvar itching? There are many reasons for vulvar itching. In addition to excluding inflammation, mycoplasma, and positive culture of vulvar plasma, the following reasons may still exist:

Guidance:

Local skin uncleanliness: Some women use toilet paper improperly, and the skin of the vulva is soaked by menstrual blood, vaginal secretions, and even urine, feces and sweat, which causes chronic inflammation of the local skin, thereby causing vulvar itching. Vaginal Trichomonas infection: When the acidity of the female vaginal mucosa decreases, the production of lactic acid decreases, and vaginal Trichomonas infection is prone to occur, which manifests as foamy leucorrhea and vulvar itching. Fungal infection: Women with diabetes or long-term use of antibiotics that cause imbalance of normal flora, Candida albicans in the fungus easily invade the vulva and vagina, causing fungal vulva and vaginitis, often with bean dregs-like leucorrhea and vulvar itching. Parasitic infection: Pinworms mainly invade young girls, and adult women can also be infected. When the anus relaxes at night, pinworms crawl out of the rectum and swim to the vulva to mate and lay eggs, and stimulate the skin and mucous membranes of the vulva, causing local itching.

Life care:

When scabies is caused by scabies infection, the external skin lesions are the most serious, so local itching is also the most obvious. Pubic lice manifest as severe itching in the area where pubic hair grows, and grayish-white millet-sized nits or lice can be found at the base of pubic hair or on the hair shaft.

From the above, female friends can know the reasons for vulva itching. A big reason is infection. After knowing this, you must pay more attention to the cleanliness of the vulva and the safety of sanitary products in your daily life. Only in this way can you prevent the occurrence of vulva itching and keep yourself clean.
