Is it okay to treat follicular development slowly?

Many female infertility symptoms are mainly caused by poor follicular development. Female infertility not only brings a very serious mental burden to themselves, but also affects the harmony of the family. Many women with the disease want to know the cause of poor follicular development and how to diagnose whether they have follicle problems. Those women who have been diagnosed with the disease want to know whether this symptom can be cured?

Recently, the editor learned from a professional obstetrics and gynecology hospital that more and more women are coming to the hospital for consultation on infertility, and 30% of infertile women have poorly developed ovarian follicles. Most of the women who suffer from the disease are working women who are under great pressure from work and life. These women often suffer from endocrine dysfunction at first.

One-third of women suffering from infertility in China do so due to poor follicular development. The recurrence rate of infertility symptoms among these women is very high after treatment. The failure of women’s ovarian follicles to develop properly is mainly caused by the following four reasons.

[1] Problems with the pituitary gland lead to poor development of the ovaries, which in turn leads to various rare syndromes. If the prolactin level is too high, it will inhibit ovulation;

【2】Problems with the hypothalamus inhibit normal ovulation in women’s ovaries;

【3】 Women with premature ovarian failure or amenorrhea are incurable because their eggs have been used up.

[4] The ovaries of women with polycystic ovary syndrome will become larger. Although a small number of small follicles are excreted at this time, these follicles usually do not develop normally. In this case, drugs can be used to promote the development of these follicles.

For women with long-term infertility, they can go to the hospital for examination to confirm whether the follicles are well developed. Currently, there are four ways to confirm whether the follicles are not well developed:

[1] By checking the endocrine hormone levels in women, it is shown that the E2 level is low, while the FSH and LH levels are higher than normal. In this case, it is necessary to go to the same hospital for three consecutive days to undergo three endocrine hormone tests before a diagnosis can be made.

[2] Extract vaginal exfoliated cells from women to check whether the estrogen level in the body is low. This hormone level is a major basis for judging whether the follicle development is poor.

【3】B-ultrasound can be used to check whether premature ovarian failure has occurred. Usually, the ovaries will appear small and no follicles can be seen; or the ovaries may be normal in size but with only a few sparse small follicles.

【4】 Laparoscopy can be performed. If the examination shows that the ovaries have no follicles or show signs of ovarian atrophy, and FSH antibodies are also present, then this symptom is called unresponsive ovary syndrome.

Poor development of follicles can easily lead to infertility, so we suggest that you do not be too nervous and accept treatment with a normal mind. Today's medical technology is so advanced, so the possibility of cure is also very high. The best way to treat this disease is to find the cause. At present, the safest way is to treat it through medication and B-ultrasound examination.
