What tests do women need to do to induce ovulation?

Faced with many women who are uneasy about their irregular periods, it is important to understand that there are many reasons for irregular periods. For example, early or late menstruation caused by endocrine disorders cannot be solved by simple ovulation induction. For this reason, many people choose to undergo ovulation induction testing. Why do we need to induce ovulation? Naturally, it is to better solve the problem of abnormal ovulation or even ovulation disorders. Here I have specially prepared some testing methods related to ovulation induction for women.

▲Professional inspection

It is mainly through hospital-related examinations. The results are relatively accurate, but the cost is high. There are mainly the following methods:

1. Ultrasound follicle monitoring

The most accurate and most commonly used testing method is to avoid the menstrual period, and the doctor will calculate the approximate ovulation period based on your cycle and then do the relevant testing.

2. Ultrasound follicle monitoring

The main purpose is to observe the growth of follicles. Monitoring begins about a week after menstruation, and is done every two days to see whether the follicles are mature and have moved to the ovaries, and to use this to recommend a date for intercourse.

3. Endocrine examination

Test your progesterone level within seven days before your period. If your progesterone level is elevated, that means you have ovulated.

4. Endometrial examination

The endometrium is affected by hormones in the body and will undergo corresponding changes in the week before and during menstruation. Doctors can determine whether ovulation has occurred by testing it.

5. Vaginal exfoliated cells

Estrogen and androgen in the body also affect vaginal epithelial cells, and testing can be used to determine whether eggs are being produced.

▲Self-test

You can check it by yourself, which is economical and convenient, but the accuracy is not certain.

1. Measure basal body temperature

A woman's body temperature will change significantly during a menstrual cycle. If you record your basal body temperature in detail, you will find that there is an obvious lowest point, and this lowest point is the day of ovulation. For women who want to have a baby, using this method can only be an afterthought.

2. Observe cervical mucus

Mainly observe the cervical mucus. On the day of ovulation, this mucus will become very transparent. If you pull it gently, you will find that it can be stretched very long and is not easy to break, but this method is not easy to judge.

3. Ovulation test strips

On the eve of the birth of the egg, the luteinizing hormone in the body reaches its highest level. If you find during the test that the second line is darker than the first, or the color becomes more obvious, you know that the egg is coming. Compared with the other two methods, this method has relatively accurate results, but this problem also arises: Will it be deeper tomorrow? It is recommended that you test it several times a day. If the color begins to fade, it means that the egg has been born.

Through this method, I hope everyone can have a certain understanding of ovulation induction tests and have a further understanding of how to better protect women's health. I hope everyone can become beautiful and healthy women.
