Causes of ovulation before menstruation

Many women who want to get pregnant will calculate their ovulation period in order to better conceive. Generally, ovulation occurs between the 14th day after menstruation and the 14-day countdown. Ovulation is not possible at other times, but many female friends say that they ovulate before menstruation. What is going on? Is it possible to ovulate before menstruation? Or are there other factors involved?

A woman's ovulation date is generally about 14 days before the next menstrual period. After the egg is released from the ovary, it can survive in the fallopian tube for 1-2 days, waiting for fertilization; the male's sperm can maintain its fertilization ability in the female's reproductive tract for 2-3 days, so it is easy to get pregnant through sexual intercourse a few days before and after the egg is released. To be on the safe side, we call the 5 days before and 4 days after ovulation, together with the ovulation day, a total of 10 days, the ovulation period. Because it is easy to get pregnant through sexual intercourse during the ovulation period, the ovulation period is also called the fertile period or the dangerous period. For example, a woman's menstrual cycle is 28 days, and the first day of this menstruation is December 2nd. Then the next menstruation will be on December 30th (December 2nd plus 28 days). Subtract 14 days from December 30th, and December 16th is the ovulation day. The ovulation day and the 5 days before and 4 days after it, that is, December 11-20, is the ovulation period.

Generally speaking, it is impossible to ovulate before menstruation. If it happens, it may be caused by irregular menstruation due to excessive mental stress. You should pay more attention to rest and not be too tired. Only when the ovulation period is normal can you conceive better. There are many ways to calculate the ovulation period. You can go to the hospital and ask the doctor to help you calculate it, or you can observe your own situation. If the amount of vaginal discharge increases on a certain day, you can test whether you are pregnant. If you do it in this way, you can definitely adjust the ovulation day.
