What to do if you are pregnant with pulmonary artery stenosis

Some pregnant women have pulmonary artery stenosis. Pregnant women need to take appropriate measures to treat it in time, so as to ensure the health of the patient and avoid pulmonary artery stenosis, which threatens the safety of the pregnant woman. So what should pregnant women with pulmonary artery stenosis do?

7-month ultrasound showed ventricular septal defect and pulmonary artery stenosis. I am seven months pregnant. The ultrasound showed: fetal heart: the four-chamber section can be displayed, the echo interruption of 5.5mm can be seen at the upper end of the ventricular septum, the inner diameter of the pulmonary artery is 4.7mm, and the inner diameter of the aorta is 6.0mm, straddling the ventricular septum. In the current situation, the color Doppler ultrasound of the fetal heart should show condition IV, which is a complex congenital heart disease. I wonder where it was checked? If necessary, go to a relatively authoritative hospital for a check-up. The fourth method to make a clear diagnosis is that the current treatment technology is mature.

Tetralogy of Fallot includes four malformations: ventricular septal defect, pulmonary artery stenosis, right ventricular hypertrophy and overriding aorta.

The prognosis of tetralogy of Fallot is very poor without surgery. Regarding the treatment of tetralogy of Fallot in infants and young children, we recommend treatment within 12 months of birth. If the child's pulmonary artery is well developed, radical surgery is more suitable at around 6 months; if the pulmonary artery is relatively small, palliative surgery is recommended at 3 months. Because infants and young children are in a period of rapid growth and development, surgery should be performed as early as possible to alleviate and control the condition as much as possible. This can promote the development of the pulmonary vascular and cardiovascular systems, create favorable conditions for the next step of radical cure, and can significantly improve the child's quality of life and relieve symptoms after surgery.

If a pregnant woman has problems with her pulmonary arteries, she must take appropriate surgical measures in a timely manner to avoid pulmonary artery diseases that threaten the patient's health. In particular, the patient must pay attention to avoid miscarriage due to this problem.
