I had a dull stomachache the day after the transplant.

In vitro fertilization (IVF) is an important step in the process of in vitro fertilization. In order to allow the IVF embryo to implant successfully, some patients are prone to believe in rumors. For example, you cannot move in bed for 48 hours after test tube transplantation, and urinating immediately after test tube transplantation will cause the test tube embryo to fall out... So what is the reason for the vague abdominal pain on the second day of transplantation?

After the test tube transplantation, the abdominal pain may have the following reasons:

1. After the test tube transplantation surgery, excessive tension and anxiety may cause uterine contractions and lower abdominal distension and pain. At this time, you should go to the hospital for medication to inhibit uterine contractions and avoid affecting the implantation of the fertilized egg.

2. Because of in vitro fertilization, the ovaries will enlarge after ovulation induction, and uterine and ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome may occur. After transplantation, the symptoms worsen and may be accompanied by lower abdominal pain.

3. Because after the in vitro fertilization transplantation operation, you take drugs such as progesterone copper. The irritation of the drug may cause digestive nerve dysfunction and lower abdominal distension and pain. If the swelling and pain are obvious, medical treatment should be sought to eliminate the medical disease.

Explain the common problems after this test tube transplantation procedure.

1. In life

You cannot have sex after the transplant; you can take a shower but not a sitz bath; be careful not to catch a cold or fever. Daily life is not easily affected.

2. Rest and Activities

There is no need to stay in bed all the time. Whether pregnancy is successful or not has no close relationship with the length of bed rest; you can walk, climb stairs, and take normal means of transportation normally. You can do light housework, but you cannot do excessive exercise or heavy physical work, such as running, jumping, gymnastics, lifting objects, etc. Walking, climbing stairs or urinating will not cause the embryo to fall out. The test tube embryo has already been transplanted into the uterine cavity and is not likely to fall out on its own.

3. Diet

Try to avoid eating greasy and spicy foods, such as fried foods, chili peppers, etc., ensure that the food is clean and hygienic to prevent diarrhea and constipation. Just ensure that the nutrition is sufficient and the taste is light.

4. Take medication

Take medicines as directed by your doctor. You cannot stop taking medicines on your own, nor can you take additional medicines on your own. If there are special circumstances or unclear areas, please go to the hospital outpatient clinic for medical treatment immediately.

5. Observation

If there is a small amount of brown secretion in the vagina after transplantation, don't worry, just observe it temporarily. If you experience abdominal pain, vaginal bleeding, etc., you can go to the nearest comprehensive hospital or the emergency department of the hospital first.

6. Mental state and mentality

During this period, you must keep your mood comfortable and don't think about whether you will succeed every day, as this will increase your mental stress. You can do something you like or are interested in on a daily basis to distract yourself as much as possible. For example, listening to your favorite songs, taking a relaxing walk with your family, etc.

7. Note

On the fourteenth day after the transplant, you must come to the hospital for a blood test to see if you are pregnant. For example, patients who had the transplant on the 1st day should go to the hospital for a blood test on the 15th of the month. The test results will be available in about 3 hours and must be collected at the self-service report copier in the pathology department. After receiving the test report, please submit it to the doctor in your group for reference. It is generally not considered premature to draw blood or urine for testing.
