What are the physical treatments for uterine prolapse?

This kind of uterine disease has brought great trouble to women, especially in the past few years. Uterine prolapse is a very common gynecological disease. Now with the improvement of living standards, the incidence of this disease has gradually decreased. However, in some areas with strong labor force, these women are more likely to suffer from uterine prolapse, especially married women or malnourished women. Today, the editor will talk about the physical treatment methods of uterine prolapse.

Generally speaking, the treatment of uterine prolapse requires two key steps. The first is to remove the excess part of the cervix through surgery, and the second is to repair the damaged vagina after surgery. These two steps are very important. Any problem in any step will affect the female body.

Clinical treatment of uterine prolapse

When the uterus descends along the vagina from its normal position, the external cervical opening reaches below the level of the ischial spine, or even the entire uterus protrudes out of the vaginal opening, it is called uterine prolapse. It is often accompanied by bulging of the anterior and posterior vaginal walls. The main cause of this disease is damage and weakness of the pelvic floor supporting tissue.

Before liberation, uterine prolapse was one of the common women's diseases in my country. After liberation, it continues to occur in mountainous and hilly areas where the female labor force is relatively strong. It is more common in married and prolific people, but also in people with malnutrition and increased abdominal pressure. Currently, the treatment of this disease adopts pessary therapy and surgical therapy, which has good curative effect.

Medication principles

1. If there is no inflammation in the prolapsed uterus, you can take a sitz bath with potassium permanganate solution; for menopausal women, use estrogen ointment.

2. Medication before uterine prolapse surgery: oral estrogen (for menopausal women), gentamicin, and metronidazole.

3. After the operation, intravenous medication is mainly used, and attention is paid to strengthening supportive therapy and preventing complications. The course of medication depends on the condition.

4. If infection occurs after surgery, effective antibiotics (including new and special drugs) can be selected based on clinical and drug sensitivity tests.

After suffering from uterine prolapse, female friends must not take it lightly, because this disease is quite harmful to the body. In addition, the editor needs to remind everyone. There are some patients with uterine prolapse. Surgical treatment is not very suitable. For example, during menstruation or for some patients who already have genital inflammation, physical therapy can be used.
