Causes of bloody vaginal discharge on ovulation day

It is common for women to have blood in their leucorrhea during ovulation. This is because the follicle ruptures, the hormone level drops, and the endometrium is damaged, resulting in a small amount of irregular vaginal bleeding. Gynecological inflammation should also be considered. For example, irregular menstruation, cervical erosion, cervical polyps, cervical cancer, endometrial polyps and other diseases can also cause blood in the leucorrhea. If it is normal ovulation bleeding, no treatment is needed and it will stop on its own. If the amount of bleeding is heavy and lasts for a long time, you should go to a regular hospital for symptomatic treatment as soon as possible.

There are two main reasons why bloody vaginal discharge occurs during ovulation:

1. Imbalance in sex hormone secretion causes large fluctuations in hormone levels during ovulation, resulting in obvious bleeding.

2. Chronic inflammation of the endometrium or inflammatory thickening of the ovarian surface causes obvious congestion of the endometrium during ovulation, and bleeding is not easy to stop on its own, or the inflammatory thickened follicle surface ruptures and bleeds more than normal, and flows back into the uterine cavity with the peristalsis of the fallopian tube and is discharged from the body through the vagina.

During the ovulation period, there is blood in the leucorrhea. As long as the amount of bleeding is not too much, it can heal on its own and will not affect health and fertility. Just pay attention to the hygiene and cleaning of the vulva. If bleeding symptoms persist for more than 7 days, you should go to the hospital to check whether you have a gynecological disease.

If there is blood in the leucorrhea, in addition to screening for normal bleeding during ovulation, you should also pay attention to the symptoms of blood in the leucorrhea caused by other diseases. If women do not pay attention to abnormal leucorrhea, they often delay treatment, the infection worsens, and the possibility of inducing cancer should not be underestimated. Pay attention to private hygiene in daily life and maintain a good life routine.
