Does uterine prolapse require treatment?

Uterine prolapse is a very serious gynecological disease for women. If a woman has this disease, it will seriously affect her life, such as defecation problems. In addition, uterine prolapse also has a great impact on the normal sex life of couples, especially for women. The psychological impact is also relatively large. So what are the methods for treating uterine prolapse?

1. Treatment for the cause

First of all, treatment should be based on the cause. Take appropriate measures based on the cause of the patient's illness. For example, people with chronic cough or habitual constipation should actively seek treatment; those who do heavy physical labor should switch to lighter jobs. Otherwise, there is still a possibility of recurrence even after surgery.

If you are using a pessary, you must first undergo a physical examination and check if there are no contraindications before using it. Generally put it in in the morning, take it out before going to bed at night, wash it and dry it before use. The elderly cannot take it out every day, and should take it out at least once every 2-3 days.

2. Treatment of mild uterine prolapse

For patients with mild uterine prolapse, or those who are elderly and frail and cannot afford surgery, some medications or simple tools can be used for treatment first. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that uterine prolapse is the result of insufficient Qi in the middle, Qi deficiency and sinking, or too many births, heavy labor, emptiness of the eight meridians, resulting in the Chong and Ren meridians being unstable and the Xi Bao being weak. Therefore, we follow the TCM principle of "replenishing the weak and lifting the sunken" and use Chinese medicine that replenishes the middle and replenishes Qi for treatment.

3. Treatment of uterine prolapse into the vagina

For those with uterine prolapse into the vagina, using a pessary is the simplest and most effective treatment. After the pessary is inserted into the vagina, it lifts the cervix and prevents the uterus from prolapsing. It can be used for all types of uterine prolapse. It should be noted that the pessary should be removed and cleaned every day or every other day before going to bed to reduce foreign body irritation, infection and possible damage caused by long-term pressure of the vagina by the pessary. You should go to the hospital for regular check-ups during the period of using the bracket.

When treating diseases such as uterine prolapse, we must choose scientific methods and choose different treatment methods according to different causes. I believe that everyone will benefit a lot after reading these methods. Of course, what kind of treatment method to use can only be determined after a thorough examination, and you should still listen to the doctor.
