Many women think that uterine prolapse is a symptom that only older women will experience, but this is not the case. If women do not take proper care of themselves after a miscarriage, they are also likely to experience uterine prolapse. Excluding the symptoms of uterine prolapse caused by congenital factors due to some women's physical defects, most people suffer from sequelae and complications caused by miscarriage. During childbirth, the soft birth canal and the surrounding pelvic floor tissues expand extremely, the muscle fibers stretch or tear, and the urogenital hiatus is damaged, relaxed, and enlarged, especially the damage caused by assisted delivery. If physical labor is engaged in too early after delivery, especially heavy physical labor, it will affect the recovery of pelvic tissue tension and cause the uninvolved large uterus to move downward to varying degrees. Due to the loose and weak tissue supporting the uterus, which is seen in the decrease of estrogen after menopause, the pelvic floor tissue atrophies and degenerates and becomes weak, so elderly women are prone to uterine prolapse. Malnutrition causes the tissue supporting the uterus to be weak, which can lead to uterine prolapse. Women with congenital dysplasia of the pelvic floor tissue occasionally have no history of childbirth but experience uterine prolapse. Therefore, the main and most common cause of uterine prolapse is heavy physical labor too early after childbirth. Retroverted uterus is only a description of the position of the uterus. It is not a pathological phenomenon and has little to do with daily life. If it is a mild prolapse, the cervix is still in the vagina and the main treatment method is a pessary. Moderate to severe uterine prolapse is mainly treated with surgery. Surgical treatment: vaginal hysterectomy and anterior and posterior vaginal wall repair with pelvic fascia support, vaginal septum formation. For women who have had a miscarriage, they should pay attention to dietary conditioning after the miscarriage, and also pay attention to vaginal hygiene to avoid bacterial infection and uterine prolapse. If the uterine prolapse is not serious, you can do some anal lifting exercises on your own, which can play a certain exercise and relief role. However, surgical treatment is still needed if necessary. |
