Treatment for itchy belly during pregnancy

Many of us have experienced itchy belly during pregnancy, especially in the summer when the weather is hot and mosquitoes are rampant, biting us all over, which makes us extremely itchy and unbearable. Many people are particularly distressed by the itchy belly during pregnancy. Many people have tried various methods, both external and internal medicines, but most of them cannot get timely treatment. So what is a good way to treat an itchy belly during pregnancy? Let us take a look at it together below.

Treatment:

1. It is a problem of one’s own physical constitution, which is a hyperfunction of the immune system, usually caused by contact with or use of substances or foods that are prone to cause allergies. In terms of treatment, the most important thing is to first find the allergen and try to avoid contact. You can take promethazine, terfenadine, vitamin C, and calcium gluconate orally. In severe cases, you can receive intravenous drip of normal saline + cimetidine + dexamethasone + vitamin C, and at the same time, inject 10% calcium gluconate 10-15ML intravenously. You cannot eat seafood or spicy food during treatment.

2. First of all, keep the vulva clean and hygienic, change underwear frequently, keep it dry, avoid sexual intercourse, avoid eating spicy food and drinking a lot of alcohol. It is recommended to use potassium permanganate solution for cleaning, and use miconazole nitrate cream and hydrocortisone ointment alternately. If itching is severe, it is recommended to take diphenhydramine tablets and vitamin C tablets orally.

3. We can only guess whether it is scrotal eczema. Eczema is a skin inflammatory reaction with severe itching caused by a variety of internal and external factors. When the disease occurs, you need to avoid eating spicy food, drinking alcohol, and excessive washing and scalding. Internal medications are mainly used for anti-inflammatory and antipruritic purposes. Antihistamines, tranquilizers and other external medications can be used. In the acute phase, zinc oxide oil can be used if there is no exudation. If there is a lot of exudation, 3% boric acid solution can be used for cold compresses. After the exudation is reduced, glucocorticoid cream can be used, which can be used alternately with oils. In subacute phases, glucocorticoid emulsions and pastes can be used, and antibacterial drugs can be added to prevent and control secondary infections. In the chronic stage, ointments, plasters and film coatings can be used.
