Ovarian examination and treatment methods

The treatment of ovarian problems is undoubtedly a major focus of discussion now. Many women may suffer from this disease. This problem will have a great impact on our families and our own hearts. This disease has brought great pain and torture to our lives and made many people suffer. For this reason, many people also seek medical treatment everywhere. In fact, we must prescribe the right medicine, not blindly treat it, and we should do a good job of examination in advance. Let us learn about the ovarian examination method together.

method:

(1) Basal body temperature measurement: Progesterone slightly increases body temperature through the body temperature regulation center, causing the basal body temperature to show a biphasic pattern in a normal menstrual cycle. That is, the basal body temperature in the second half of the menstrual cycle is 0.4°C to 0.6°C higher than that in the first half, indicating that the ovarian function includes ovulation and corpus luteum formation.

(2) Vaginal exfoliated cell examination: Observe the percentage of surface, middle and bottom layer cells. The higher the percentage of surface layer cells, the higher the estrogen level. The smears of patients with premature ovarian failure show varying degrees of low estrogen levels or persistent mild estrogen effects.

(3) Examination of cervical mucus crystals: Estrogen makes the cervical mucus thinner, more stringy, and contains fern-like crystals. The more obvious and coarser the fern-like crystals are, the more significant the effect of estrogen is. If rows of ellipses are seen on the smear, it indicates that the hormone progesterone has been affected in addition to the action of estrogen.

(4) Blood steroid hormone determination: Radioimmunoassay of estradiol, progesterone and testosterone. If the estrogen and progesterone concentrations are low, it indicates abnormal ovarian function or failure. If the testosterone level is high, it may indicate polycystic ovary syndrome, ovarian masculinization tumor or testicular feminization.

The above content introduces us to the methods of ovarian examination. These contents are undoubtedly a great blessing to our patients. We can use the methods introduced above to effectively treat our own problems. We can also tell the above article to our relatives and friends around us, so that more people can recover their health.
