Brown discharge after menstruation

Brown discharge after menstruation

I believe every girl is familiar with menstruation, because it comes once a month and it is a symbol of female health. However, some women have brown discharge in the later stages of their menstrual period, which is very strange and also causes a little pain. What is the reason for this? Let’s take a closer look.

Ovulation bleeding is a common gynecological disease. Brown discharge after menstruation Modern medicine believes that this disease is caused by insufficient estrogen levels. It is treated with low-dose estrogen replacement therapy. Although it has short-term efficacy, the long-term efficacy is poor and it is prone to recurrence. Ovulation bleeding, also known as mid-menstrual bleeding or intermenstrual bleeding, refers to a small amount of bleeding between two normal menstrual periods, which may be accompanied by varying degrees of lower abdominal pain.

Clinical manifestations of this disease:

1. Uterine bleeding: Ovulation-related uterine bleeding occurs during the menstrual cycle with ovulation. The amount of bleeding is small, and sometimes only brown secretions are present. It usually stops on its own in 2-3 days and lasts for 7 days. Sometimes it resembles menstruation and is mistakenly believed to be having two periods in a month.

2. Abdominal pain: Periodic pain between menstruation. The pain can be very mild or severe dysmenorrhea type, usually lasting for several hours, and in some patients it can last for 2-3 days.

3. It may be caused by ovulation bleeding, which causes the couple to interrupt their sexual life and miss the opportunity to conceive.

The menstrual cycle refers to the time interval between two menstrual periods. The brown discharge after menstruation also starts from the first day of menstruation and ends on the first day of the next menstruation, which is called a cycle. Most women have a menstrual cycle of about 28-30 days. The menstrual cycle consists of the menstrual phase, follicular phase, ovulation phase and luteal phase. The ovulation period is in the middle of the menstrual cycle. The method of calculating the ovulation period is to subtract 14 days from the number of days in the menstrual cycle. Women during their ovulation period are passionate, happy, smart and energetic.

Girls' menstruation is also called ovulation. In fact, the appearance of brown discharge at the end of ovulation is sometimes normal. This is because the number of eggs ovulated at that time may be relatively small, so it does not look like menstruation, which leads people to mistakenly think it is brown discharge. So when some people experience this situation, there is no need to be very nervous.
