What is fibrocystic breast

Women's physical health is very important, which is not only related to women's physical health, but also to women's family happiness. Therefore, it is very important to care about women's physical health, and breast health is an issue that women need to pay close attention to. Some women have insufficient breast development, which causes some breast health problems. Breast fibrocystic is a health problem. Let's take a look at the introduction below.

More than 50% of adult women suffer from fibrocystic breast disease, especially women of childbearing age. Its characteristics are that the tumor in the breast is mobile, hard or soft, and tender. The discomfort symptoms of a breast mass often occur before menstruation.

Normally, fluid collects in breast tissue and moves through the lymphatic system. However, if there is too much fluid and it cannot function properly in the body, a small part of the breast will fill with fluid and fibrous tissue will surround it, causing it to thicken, similar to a scar, and form a cyst. Many breast cysts are noticeably swollen and tender before or during menstruation.

The cysts can develop and increase gradually. The swelling of the breasts compresses the mammary glands, which can stimulate the pituitary gland to secrete prolactin. Prolactin stimulates milk secretion, leading to breast hyperplasia, further secretion of milk into the auxiliary fibrous tissue, and finally leading to more cysts.

Breast cysts can change in size, but are generally benign. The cyst is very tender and mobile - it feels like touching the eyeball through the eyelid. In contrast, cancerous growths usually do not move freely, are harder, and do not disappear.

Breast fibrocystic disease is a disease that poses a great threat to women's health. Although this disease is controllable, it must be treated. Women must pay more attention to their breasts and have regular breast health checks when necessary to keep themselves informed of their breast conditions and stay away from breast diseases that threaten their health.
