The menstrual cycle can be simply divided into the first phase

From the first day of menstruation to the day of ovulation, this period of time is about 12-22 days, which varies from person to person due to different physical conditions. Below I take a 28-day cycle as an example:

Menstruation lasts about 3-5 days. On the 7th day, the pituitary gland will secrete hormones to stimulate the development of the egg. When the egg is mature, the pituitary gland begins to secrete estrogen, which causes the uterine tissue to thicken. Ovulation occurs on the 14th day of the cycle, and the first stage ends.

The second stage

The timing is roughly the same for everyone, that is, from the day of ovulation to the next menstrual period. Usually, the menstrual period comes two weeks after ovulation, which is 14 days. If we consider it from the perspective of contraception, each menstrual cycle of a woman can be divided into the menstrual period, ovulation period and safe period.
