How to treat female cervical erosion

Cervical erosion is actually a common gynecological inflammation. For women, this problem must not be ignored when it occurs. If it is not treated and controlled in time, it will cause greater harm and have a very serious impact on women's reproductive health, especially severe cervical erosion, which may even directly threaten women's fertility. Let us now understand the causes of cervical erosion in women.

Cervical erosion in women occurs due to childbirth, miscarriage, postpartum infection, surgical operation or mechanical stimulation such as sexual intercourse that damages the cervix and causes infection through the invasion of pathogens. After suffering from cervical erosion, the amount of leucorrhea will increase and become thicker, and occasionally there may be purulent or bloody leucorrhea. It is often accompanied by low back pain, abdominal pain, and a feeling of heaviness in the lower abdomen. Contact bleeding may also occur during sexual intercourse, and the appearance of odor is also very likely.

When suffering from mild cervical erosion, patients generally have no obvious symptoms, and may only have a slight increase in vaginal discharge, which is often easily overlooked. Cervical erosion in many patients is discovered during screening or when they visit the doctor for other gynecological diseases. The most obvious symptom of patients with moderate and severe cervical erosion is increased vaginal discharge, which is yellow and sticky, or contains blood. A small number of patients may experience bleeding after sexual intercourse. Inflammatory leucorrhea can cause long-term irritation to the vulva and may also cause vulvar pruritus.
