What to do if the normal thickness of the uterine lining becomes thinner

The uterus is very important to women. Many women know it is important but often ignore it in their lives. Some women know very little about their uterus, which can easily lead to many disease problems. So we need to understand what the normal thickness of the uterine lining is. What to do if the lining of the uterus becomes thinner?

Generally speaking, the thickness of the normal uterine wall ranges from 5 to 10 mm, and the thickness of the uterine wall varies at different stages.

When women are under the influence of certain estrogen, if the thickness of the uterine wall cannot reach 8 mm during ultrasound examination, it is judged that the uterine wall is thin.

There are systemic causes for thin uterine lining. Common causes include low estrogen levels, insufficient progesterone levels, ovulation disorders, and lack of growth hormone. There are also local causes, such as lining damage, adhesions, and absence. For some patients, the uterine lining has not yet recovered after an artificial abortion, which can also lead to a thin uterine lining.

1. Western medicine therapy: The thin uterine wall caused by simple endocrine factors can be adjusted clinically with hormones. Appropriate amounts of estrogen and progesterone can increase the thickness of the uterine wall to a certain extent and improve the symptoms of thin uterine wall. However, hormones are very harmful. Long-term use can lead to organ failure and a sharp decline in immunity.

2. Surgical treatment: Surgical treatment is generally suitable for thin uterine wall caused by endometrial adhesion and damage. It can only be treated with cold instruments under hysteroscopy and then anti-adhesion treatment. In severe cases, endometrial transplantation is also required.

3. Traditional Chinese Medicine: In traditional Chinese medicine theory, thin uterine lining is mostly caused by kidney deficiency and deficiency of both Qi and blood, which results in inability of Qi and blood to nourish the body and disorder of Chong and Ren meridians. Chinese medicine can be used to replenish qi and blood, benefit the kidneys and strengthen the spleen, and gradually thicken the inner wall of the uterus. But traditional Chinese medicine generally takes a long time to take effect.

In addition to drug treatment, there are many dietary therapies. We can all try it if we can. Women need to pay special attention to the normal thickness of the uterine wall. If it becomes thinner, necessary measures should be taken. Of course, we also need to learn more about this aspect so that we can be at ease when facing it and have a healthy body.
