Causes of abdominal wall endometriosis

Causes of abdominal wall endometriosis

We all know that women's body structure is particularly complex, and there will always be some gynecological diseases. Abdominal wall endometriosis is a relatively common gynecological disease. Many women are troubled by this disease, but we know very little about gynecological diseases. Sometimes we don’t know what causes it, and sometimes we can’t prevent it well. Let us understand the causes of abdominal wall endometriosis.

Causes of abdominal wall endometriosis:

1. Abnormal position of the uterus: The normal position of a woman's uterus is to lean forward and bend forward, which can facilitate the menstrual blood to flow out of the body. Once the uterus tilts backward and bends backward, especially the severe one, it is very easy to cause the menstrual blood to not flow out smoothly, and it will accumulate in the uterine cavity, causing the pressure in the uterine cavity to continue to increase, and the menstrual blood will easily flow back into the abdominal cavity.

2. Menstrual diseases: Women with menstrual abnormalities, especially short cycles, frequent menstruation, heavy menstrual flow, prolonged menstruation, and dysmenorrhea, will increase the number of times menstrual blood passes through the fallopian tubes, and the amount of menstrual blood flowing along the fallopian tubes to the pelvic cavity will also increase. Women who have dysmenorrhea, especially those with severe dysmenorrhea, should go to the hospital for a check-up.

3. Gynecological surgical manipulation: Frequent artificial abortions will increase the pressure in the uterine cavity and cause uterine contractions, which will make it easy for endometrial fragments and blood to flow through the fallopian tubes to the pelvic cavity. Women who give birth by cesarean section will also increase the risk of endometriosis, as the endometrium can easily implant in the uterine muscle wall, pelvic cavity, abdominal wall, and other locations.

4. Reproductive system abnormalities: Women with congenital reproductive system maldevelopment, including uterine occlusion, vaginal septum, hymen occlusion, etc., are prone to cause menstrual backflow. Or later having an artificial abortion, uterine surgery, vaginal surgery, inserting medicine into the vagina, etc., can easily cause damage to the reproductive tract, leading to adhesions of the cervix and vaginal opening, making it difficult to expel menstrual blood. Once the pressure in the uterine cavity increases, it will cause menstrual blood to flow back.

There are many diseases in our lives that can be prevented well as long as we can grasp the causes. Understanding the causes of abdominal wall endometriosis will be more conducive to our prevention of the disease. We should maintain good living habits in our daily lives, especially personal hygiene issues, and pay attention to the hygiene of sexual life. We should also pay attention to keeping our body warm and try not to get cold.
