The fallopian tube is an important part of female reproductive organs. If there is any problem with the fallopian tube, it will cause certain health threats to the body. Chronic salpingitis is a relatively common fallopian tube disease. If this disease occurs, it may affect some women who want to become pregnant. You can learn about the symptoms of this disease below. 1. Symptoms The systemic symptoms are not obvious, but there is distension and pain in the lower abdomen and soreness in the lumbar region, which is aggravated by fatigue. During gynecological examination, thickened fallopian tubes can be felt in the adnexal area, which are strip-like and mildly tender. When there is hydrosalpinx or ovarian cyst, cystic tumors can be felt beside the uterus with poor mobility. Chronic adnexitis may have acute or subacute attacks, with acute phase symptoms. 1. Chronic salpingitis is often accompanied by oophoritis Therefore, it is clinically called adnexitis. The following types are common due to different locations and degrees of lesions: 1. Chronic interstitial salpingitis (simple hypertrophy type): Due to long-term inflammation, the connective tissue between the fallopian tube walls proliferates and fibroses, causing the tube walls to thicken and harden, the tube body to thicken, and the tube lumen to be blocked. The tortuous fallopian tubes are often inflammatoryly adhered to the posterior lobe of the broad ligament due to the ovarian inflammation, making them difficult to separate. 2. Isthmic nodular salpingitis It is characterized by nodular thickening, hardening and toughening of the isthmus, hypertrophy of the muscular layer, and island-like invasion of the endosalpingeal glandular epithelium into the muscular layer. It is a change of chronic inflammation; some people also believe that it is endosalpingosis, and the pathogenesis is still controversial. The lesion causes isthmus obstruction and infertility. 2. Pyrosesalpinx It may be the consequence of acute inflammation, or it may be caused by adhesion and closure of the fimbria due to chronic suppurative infection. It is manifested as thickening of the tube wall, obvious thickening of the tube body, viscous pus in the lumen, pale intima, and reduced or disappeared mucosal folds. It may be combined with ovarian abscess adhesion and adhesion to the broad ligament and posterior uterine wall. 3. Hydrosalpinx The pathogenesis is not very clear. It may be due to chronic infection causing adhesion of the fimbria, accumulation of fallopian tube fluid and inflammatory exudate in the ampulla. The isthmus has thick walls and a narrow cavity. If there is adhesion blockage, the fluid accumulated in the tube will be difficult to drain and difficult to absorb, forming a gallbladder-shaped effusion. There is no adhesion or slight adhesion to adjacent tissues. In the above article, we introduced some knowledge about the symptoms of chronic fallopian tube inflammation. I believe that after reading it, you will have a better understanding of this disease and be more vigilant about chronic fallopian tube inflammation. Knowing more about diseases is actually very helpful for you to detect diseases yourself, and at least it is a guarantee of health. |
