Reasons for delayed menstruation and low menstrual volume

Reasons for delayed menstruation and low menstrual volume

Many women experience this situation: the menstrual flow is very small during the period, and they almost don’t need sanitary napkins, and the problem can be solved with just sanitary pads. Some women sigh when they have their period, worrying that there is something wrong with their body and that they are about to enter menopause. I went to the hospital from time to time to check various physical signs, but the results showed no problems. The doctor diagnosed it as an endocrine disorder. Start taking medicine for conditioning.

In this way, I went to the hospital many times and took many medicines, including Chinese medicine, Western medicine, regular check-ups, telephone consultations, and radio health consultations. I asked everything I could. Two years have passed and the symptoms have not changed. The menstrual flow is still light and I still feel irritable when my period comes, fearing that I will suffer from premature menopause.

Most of the causes of irregular menstruation are related to abnormal female endocrine function. When the menstrual flow is small (oligomenorrhea), but the menstrual cycle is basically normal, the menstrual flow is significantly reduced, or even stops with a single drop; or the menstrual period is shortened to less than two days, and the menstrual flow is also small, it is called "oligomenorrhea". This is a menstrual disorder.

Reasons for scanty menstrual flow: 1. Too frequent sexual intercourse, too many births, multiple abortions, medical abortions, curettage, etc., which damage the kidney essence and the vital energy.

2. Gynecological diseases: such as ovarian syndrome, cervical disease, gynecological diseases, pelvic inflammation, etc. can all lead to delayed menstruation.

3. Caused by surgery: Intrauterine surgery can cause cervical adhesions and result in menstrual blood stasis, thus delaying menstruation.

4. Side effects of drugs: Endocrine disorders after long-term use of contraceptives can also cause delayed menstruation.

5. Psychological factors: major mental stimulation, excessive stress, excessive fatigue, and changes in living environment can all cause delayed menstruation or amenorrhea.

In fact, when encountering this situation, you can use exercise and diet to adjust it. Keep a happy mood, run for half an hour in the morning, drink a cup of soy milk every morning, and do not eat raw or cold food in daily life. It is still possible to regulate the menstrual volume, delay and reduce it, and the breasts no longer swell during menstruation, and the color of menstrual blood is more normal.
