What to pay attention to during miscarriage

Many female friends who have experienced miscarriage are very worried that miscarriage will cause serious harm to their bodies and affect future pregnancies. Therefore, after the miscarriage, they always want to know what to pay attention to. In fact, there are many things to pay attention to in miscarriage, but as long as female friends can pay attention and take good care of their bodies, miscarriage will not cause much harm to the body.

After a miscarriage, female friends must know what kind of miscarriage it is, because we can divide miscarriage into several categories, such as incomplete miscarriage, complete miscarriage and inevitable miscarriage.

After confirming the miscarriage, appropriate treatment should be given according to the different types of spontaneous abortion.

1. Threatened abortion

Rest in bed, abstain from sexual intercourse, and, if necessary, give sedatives that have little harm to the fetus. Patients with luteal insufficiency can receive intramuscular injection of progesterone or take vitamin E orally to preserve the pregnancy. Patients with hypothyroidism can take small doses of thyroid tablets orally. After 2 weeks of treatment, if vaginal bleeding stops and B-ultrasound indicates that the placenta is alive, the pregnancy can continue. If the clinical symptoms worsen, B-ultrasound reveals that the embryo is poorly developed, and β-hCG continues to remain at zero or decreases, it indicates that miscarriage is inevitable and the pregnancy should be terminated. In addition, psychological treatment should be emphasized to stabilize their emotions and enhance their confidence.

2. Miscarriage is inevitable

Once the rash is confirmed, the embryo and placental tissue should be completely expelled as soon as possible. In the early clinical stage, curettage should be performed promptly.

3. Incomplete abortion

Once the diagnosis is confirmed, curettage or curettage should be performed as soon as possible to remove residual tissue in the uterine cavity. Patients with heavy vaginal bleeding and shock should receive blood transfusion and fluid infusion, and be given antibiotics to prevent infection.

4. Complete miscarriage

The symptoms of miscarriage disappear, and B-ultrasound examination confirms that there is no residue in the mouth. If there is no sign of infection, no special treatment is required.

5. Missed abortion

It is more difficult to handle. The placental tissue is ossified and tightly adhered to the uterine wall, making curettage difficult. If the retention time is too long, coagulation dysfunction may occur, leading to disseminated intravascular coagulation and severe bleeding. Before treatment, routine blood tests, coagulation time, platelet count, fibrinogen, prothrombin time, clot retraction test and plasma protamine paracoagulation test should be checked, and preparations for blood transfusion should be made. If there is bleeding and coagulation disorder, heparin, fibrinogen, and fresh blood, fresh frozen plasma, etc. should be used as soon as possible. After the coagulation function improves, curettage can be performed.

6. Habitual miscarriage

Couples with chromosomal abnormalities should receive genetic counseling and active immunotherapy before pregnancy.

7. Abortion with infection

The principle of treatment is to clear the intrauterine residues as quickly as possible while spreading the infection.

In the above article, we introduced that many female friends are very worried about the harm caused by miscarriage to the body, and they are also worried that miscarriage will affect future pregnancies. In fact, as long as you pay attention to some matters during miscarriage, the harm caused to the body will not be great. The above article divides miscarriage into several categories and introduces corresponding countermeasures.
