Women who own cars should beware of bacterial infections

For most women, it is an easy and comfortable thing to travel by car instead of walking in the scorching sun or heavy rain.

However, experts believe that behind the comfort lies a "stumbling block" to women's health - urethritis. They suggest that women who own cars should pay attention to hygiene and take appropriate measures to prevent inflammation.

Experts explain that driving for a long time can easily lead to the proliferation of bacteria in areas rich in sweat glands, including the skin outside the urethra. In addition, the female urethra is shorter, so bacteria are more likely to invade the female body and easily cause urethritis.

Some women develop some bad habits when driving: for example, they like to eat sweet snacks while driving, which will increase the sugar content of body secretions and create a "breeding ground" for the reproduction of bacteria; many women reduce the amount of water they drink while driving to avoid the trouble of going to the toilet, or simply do not drink water while driving. In this way, there is not enough urine to flush the urethra, and harmful substances cannot be flushed away in time, increasing the chance of urethritis infection.

If you continue to hold your urine, it will easily cause pelvic congestion and make urethritis more likely. Experts suggest that women should change the above bad habits when driving, pay attention to maintaining physical hygiene and health, and stay away from inflammation. For example, you can drink some orange juice while driving, as the ingredients in it can prevent urinary tract infections.
