Is it a disease if one breast is larger than the other?

"One of my breasts is obviously much bigger than the other. Is there something wrong?" Mengmeng, a first-grade girl, accidentally discovered while taking a bath that her left and right breasts were different sizes. One breast was tall, while the other was flat like a man's. Coincidentally, Xiao Xu, a sophomore girl, also found that her breasts were asymmetrical and wondered: "Why is there such a big difference between the two sides?" They had no choice but to tell their mother, who accompanied them to shyly visit a doctor.

Breast health is more important than appearance

Experts point out that it is impossible for every woman's breasts to be the same size, and breast size is related to personal physique. Whether it is cup A, B, C or D, as long as it can breastfeed, it is normal. Size is just a promotion of commercial ideas. In fact, health is what is important. If there is a visually obvious difference in size, it falls into the category of abnormal breast development and you need to consult a doctor.

There are two common situations in which breasts are obviously asymmetrical: one is caused by congenital development, that is, congenital malformation, but it is not a big problem; the other is caused by acquired diseases, such as mastitis, breast hyperplasia, and tumors, which can lead to unequal breasts and are pathological. It is worth noting that if the breasts are locally asymmetrical, it is very likely that there is a foreign body in the breasts.

Congenital asymmetry can be remedied during lactation

Breast size differences among adolescents are often a transient problem. For many girls, the left and right breasts develop at different speeds during adolescence. This is normal. When they mature, the two breasts will be the same size.

But after adulthood, if the size difference between the two breasts is particularly large, you should be cautious. Because it may be congenital or pathological. There is a way to remedy congenitally different breast sizes: women should use their small breasts to feed their babies during lactation, which can help the small breasts grow larger. Because a woman has two breast development periods in her life, one is during puberty and the other is during lactation. If you miss the first development, you can make up for it in the second. As for pathological asymmetry, of course, the relevant diseases should be actively treated.

Exercise is the best way to have beautiful breasts

If girls are afraid that it will affect their appearance, they can correct it by strengthening their chest muscles. For example: doing more exercises with equipment such as push-ups and push-ups, and consciously lifting and holding heavy objects with your hands can strengthen your chest muscles and enlarge your breasts. Many people believe that chest expansion exercises can enlarge breasts, but this is actually a misunderstanding. Chest expansion only makes people look more upright. Experts emphasize that breast exercises must be started early. It is meaningless to use breast enhancement equipment when you are in your thirties or forties.

In addition, you can also use your right hand to gently press the left breast, or your left hand to gently press the right breast, and massage in a clockwise direction, 3 times a day, 30 times each time, to keep the breast meridians unblocked, which also has a health-care effect.
