Is the egg still there during ovulation bleeding?

Ovulation, to put it simply, is the discharge of eggs. Ovulation is a special physiological stage for female friends. Ovulation also has certain practical significance for female friends to conceive offspring. So, are the bleeding egg cells still there during ovulation? Let’s take a look.

1. Does ovulation bleeding occur during ovulation?

Ovulation bleeding, the amount is less than the menstrual amount, lasts about 3 to 4 days, and occurs in the middle and late stages of the 2nd menarche, also known as mid-term bleeding. It is caused by the rupture of ovarian follicles during menstruation and a temporary decrease in estrogen levels. Therefore, ovulation bleeding is not during ovulation.

What are the causes of ovulation bleeding?

In fact, ovulation bleeding is a condition that every female friend may experience. Under normal circumstances, this type of bleeding is very small and cannot be observed by the naked eye, but some people will have obvious bleeding symptoms, and the severity cannot be generalized. But in fact, the main reason for ovulation bleeding is that after the mature follicle ruptures and ovulates, the estrogen level drops sharply and significantly, which cannot maintain the growth of the uterine wall, causing the surface part of the uterine wall to rupture and fall off, and then produce initial bleeding.

It may secrete a certain amount of estrogen and estrogens, which quickly repair the ruptured uterine wall and stop the bleeding. Or it may be that during ovulation, the mature egg secretes more estrogen, causing uterine wall hematoma and blood cell exposure. It may also be that when eggs are captured at the ends of the fallopian tubes, the blood-containing egg fluid is sent through the fallopian tubes against peristalsis to the uterine body and then discharged from the cervix through the vagina. When examining cervical mucus in the middle and late stages of the menstrual period for women who are ovulating, it is found that about 60% of them have blood cells under a high-power microscope, but there is no bleeding that can be seen by the naked eye. I think this is a pathological condition. However, women with ovulation bleeding must eliminate other reproductive system diseases, such as irregular menstruation, cervical erosion, cervical polyps, cervical cancer, uterine intrauterine polyps, uterine cervical fibroids, uterine wall adenocarcinoma, etc.

Of course, it may also be due to an imbalance in estrogen metabolism, which causes a large fluctuation in female hormones during ovulation and causes significant bleeding. Inflammation of the uterine wall or the inflammatory thickening of the uterine and ovarian surface causes significant uterine wall hematoma during ovulation, and bleeding is difficult to stop on its own, or the inflamed and thickened ovarian surface ruptures and bleeds more than normal, and refluxes into the uterine cavity with the peristalsis of both fallopian tubes and is discharged from the body through the vagina.

For this reason, ovulation bleeding does not occur during the ovulation period. On the contrary, ovulation bleeding is a serious condition. Friends who experience this condition should go to the hospital as soon as possible and receive relevant treatment. Also, you must not have sex during ovulation bleeding, which is not good for both husband and wife, so girls don't need to be too anxious.
