As we all know, in order to successfully get pregnant, the successful embryo implantation of sperm and egg is a necessary condition, but the time of embryo implantation is not fixed. For some women who are eager to get pregnant successfully, waiting for the embryo to implant is a long process. So, what is the reason for late implantation during pregnancy? Let’s find out together. What causes delayed implantation during pregnancy? There are certain reasons for late implantation during pregnancy. It may be related to the increase in the menstrual cycle affecting the time of ovulation, or it may be related to the slow peristalsis of the bilateral fallopian tubes. Because the speed of transporting sperm and egg for combination has a direct relationship with the rate of peristalsis of the bilateral fallopian tubes, the efficiency of transporting sperm and egg for combination is low, and the implantation time is also delayed. Generally, after intercourse during the ovulation period, the sperm and egg cell will combine closely to form a sperm-egg fertilization. After successful insemination, it takes about five or six days for the embryo to implant. If the time of egg discharge is delayed, it will affect the time of fertilization. If the embryo fails to implant for a long time, miscarriage will occur. If the time is too early, the test tube embryo has not yet fully developed and cannot implant. Embryo implantation is actually the whole process of sperm and egg combining in the bilateral fallopian tubes and moving towards the uterus. When it reaches the endometrium, implantation is successful. However, if there is inflammation in both fallopian tubes, the speed of sperm and egg combination and migration will be affected, so this is also a reason for late implantation. How many days after ovulation does the sperm and egg implant? After the sperm and egg combine to absorb nutrients, they continue to divide and then slowly move toward the uterine cavity. When they arrive in the uterine cavity 3-4 days later, they have grown into a solid thread with multiple cells, which looks like a mulberry, so it is called a morula. The morula divides again in the uterus to produce a blastocyst, which implants about 6-8 days after fertilization. However, most women do not have very obvious reactions during this period, and only a very small number of women will show signs of bleeding. If a female friend has the following symptoms, it may indicate that the embryo has implanted. |
