I didn't ejaculate inside but my period was delayed

Can I get pregnant if I don’t ejaculate? In most cases, it is not easy to get pregnant without ejaculation, because it is impossible to get pregnant without sperm and egg fusion. However, if ejaculation outside the body or a small amount of residual semen from the male genitals enters the female vagina at night, it may also cause accidental pregnancy and lead to pregnancy.

Whether or not you are pregnant if you don't ejaculate can be divided into two situations:

1. It is not easy to get pregnant if you don’t ejaculate: Generally speaking, it is not easy for a man to get pregnant if he doesn’t ejaculate during intercourse. This is because the man's sperm does not enter the woman's body and fuse with the egg cell to form a sperm-egg combination.

2. You may get pregnant if you don't ejaculate: This is unlikely to happen unless you get pregnant by ejaculation outside the vagina or a small amount of semen remaining from the male genitals enters the vagina at night.

(1) Pregnancy by ejaculation outside the vagina: Ejaculation outside the vagina is also known as the withdrawal method or the method of sexual interruption. It is used as a daily contraceptive measure, but the actual contraceptive effect is not good. Sometimes, if you don't have good control, semen may leak out before the climax of sexual intercourse or before ejaculation. Once a small amount of semen enters the vagina, it can cause accidental pregnancy.

(2) A small amount of semen remaining from the male genitals enters the vagina at night: some men immediately enter the woman's body to continue sexual intercourse after ejaculating outside the body, or the male genitals do not enter the woman's body but only rub around the vagina. Because there is still semen left in the man's penis, if this semen enters the vagina, it may cause the woman to become pregnant.

How to get pregnant

How can I get pregnant? Pregnancy is a complex physiological process that requires the following conditions: normal eggs are secreted from the ovaries, the semen contains normally active sperm, the eggs and sperm can meet and fuse in the fallopian tubes to form a sperm-egg combination, the sperm-egg combination can be transmitted to the uterus, and the development of the uterine wall must be suitable for the implantation of the fertilized egg. If there is any abnormality in these conditions, pregnancy will be prevented.

Normally, women only release one perfect egg cell each month. Ovulation occurs about 14 days before the next menstrual period. During intercourse, the man ejaculates into the woman's vagina, and the male sperm travels from the vagina to the ampulla of the fallopian tube and fuses with the egg cell. When the sperm enters the zona pellucida of the egg cell, sperm-egg fusion begins. When the sex chromosomes of the sperm and egg combine together, it means that the sperm and egg fusion has taken place. The new body cell is called sperm and egg fusion, which is the beginning of the birth of a new life.
