Please check the following five suggestions

First, it is strictly forbidden to arbitrarily burn poplar and willow catkins. After the poplar and willow catkins fall to the ground, they can be cleaned up by first pouring water on them, then sweeping and burying them.

The second is to promptly clean up the willow catkins attached to flammable materials. At the same time, combustible materials such as cardboard boxes, branches, and firewood piles piled near buildings and outdoor electric bicycle charging areas should also be promptly cleaned up.

Third, parking lots and community property management should promptly clean up poplar and willow catkins. When parking your vehicle outdoors, choose an open area away from flammable materials. Private car owners should strengthen vehicle maintenance to prevent large amounts of catkins from accumulating in the engine compartment of their cars.

Fourth, local governments and landscaping departments can increase the intensity of road sprinkling and wetting, and communities (villages) should promptly organize personnel to clean up areas where poplar and willow catkins are prone to accumulate by sprinkling water and then removing them. Wood products processing factories, gas stations and other units should take strict precautions, install screens and clean frequently.

Fifth, whether indoors or outdoors, fire must be carefully managed and cigarette butts must not be thrown around to avoid fires. Schools and parents should strengthen education for children and strictly prohibit children from playing with fire, let alone lighting willow catkins for fun or curiosity.
