Who needs to have a cancer prevention physical examination?

Who needs to have a cancer prevention physical examination?

1. Cancer prevention physical examinations are mainly aimed at high-risk groups

1. Elderly people. The older you are, the higher the incidence of tumors. The most typical example is prostate cancer in men. The incidence of prostate cancer in men after the age of 60 is doubled compared to before the age of 60. Almost all tumors are related to age, which is why the incidence of tumors in the elderly is higher.

2. Tumors have a certain degree of familial clustering. People with a family history of tumors have a much higher tumor incidence rate than normal people, so these people are the key screening population for cancer prevention examinations.

3. People who have some bad living habits will also have an increased incidence of tumors.

If you do not belong to the above high-risk groups. For young people in their twenties and thirties, routine physical examinations are sufficient and there is no need for cancer prevention physical examinations. On the contrary, if you belong to the above groups, you should pay attention to cancer prevention physical examinations.

People should be aware of the early symptoms of cancer and recognize the warning signs of various cancers in their daily lives. Once the following symptoms appear, you must go to the hospital for relevant examinations to rule out cancer.

2. Be alert to the early symptoms of cancer

Abnormal lumps appear in the breasts, testicles, groin, neck, abdomen, armpits, or other parts of the body, or existing subcutaneous tumors suddenly grow faster.

Vaginal bleeding after sex, bloody vaginal discharge, rice-water-like discharge from the vagina, and vaginal bleeding 1 to 2 years after menopause may be symptoms of cervical cancer or endometrial cancer. Vomiting blood should be a sign of stomach cancer and esophageal cancer, and coughing up blood should be a sign of lung cancer. Unexplained bruises or continuous bleeding on the body may be symptoms of leukemia.

3. Fever

Fever as the main symptom is common in patients with malignant lymphoma (especially Hodgkin's disease), liver cancer, lung cancer, osteosarcoma, stomach cancer, colon cancer, kidney cancer, pancreatic cancer or advanced tumors. Fever is caused by tumor necrosis, absorption of decomposition products or concurrent infection. The cause of fever in some tumor patients is unknown.
