Joint sprains and first aid

Joint sprains and first aid

Ankle and knee sprains are common among adolescents.

If students do not warm up sufficiently before doing sports, they are prone to joint sprains, causing pain, swelling or bruises in the joints and around them. If they continue to exercise at this time, the pain and injury will be aggravated.

Correct first aid method: stop exercising immediately, rest, and apply cold compress and pressure bandage on the painful area, keeping the affected limb elevated.
