What is "COVID-19"? See if you have these symptoms?

Have you ever heard of the term "cold coronavirus"? It doesn't matter if you haven't heard of it. If you have already had the virus, you may be experiencing it now.

According to WHO estimates, 10-20% of people infected with the new coronavirus, including those without symptoms or with mild symptoms, may develop "long-term COVID-19."

Long COVID includes many symptoms, generally referred to as "long COVID" syndrome. The three most common symptoms are: fatigue and weakness; wheezing/shortness of breath; memory loss and difficulty concentrating (brain fog).

A recent survey found that after being infected with the new coronavirus (14 days later):

1) Nearly 74% of patients reduced their workload and/or working hours;

2) 86% of patients experienced fatigue or obvious fatigue; 6% experienced severe fatigue;

3) 78% of patients were in poor mental condition; 7.7% were in severe poor mental condition;

4) 44% of patients were forgetful or had memory loss, and 3% had severe symptoms;

5) 69% of patients experienced wheezing or shortness of breath after even the slightest amount of exercise (climbing stairs or steps); 1.5% experienced severe shortness of breath or wheezing.

Most people who are infected with the new coronavirus will experience a similar illness to a severe cold, and will gradually recover after 1-2 weeks.

However, there are still many people whose symptoms last for a long time. There are currently few established methods for intervening in these people, and the number of people being tracked is small, so we can only look forward to more data.
