Luotu Technology: China's smart tablet shipments reached 7.131 million units in Q3 2024, up 3.5% year-on-year

According to the latest news released by Luotu Technology, "China Smart Tablet Retail Market Monthly Tracking" report, in the third quarter of 2024, China's consumer smart tablet market shipments reached 7.131 million units, a year-on-year increase of 3.5%.

Among them, the retail volume of the online monitoring market (excluding emerging e-commerce companies such as Pinduoduo, Douyin, and Kuaishou) was 2.938 million units, accounting for 41.2% of the total shipments, a year-on-year increase of 4.9%; sales were 8.45 billion yuan, a slight increase of 0.5% year-on-year.

In terms of brand performance, the top four online market sales are Apple, Huawei, Xiaomi and Honor, which is consistent with the same period in 2023. However, the fifth place changed from Lenovo last year to iFlytek this year.

It is worth noting that Apple's online market sales share fell to 25.0%, down 8.6 percentage points from the same period last year, and sales decreased by 22.1% year-on-year.

In contrast, Huawei's performance was particularly impressive. Its online market share increased to 20.3%, a year-on-year increase of 41.3%, mainly due to the hot sales of the MatePad 11.5-inch S and MatePad SE series.

In addition, Huawei's advantages in the offline market are even more obvious, and its overall market share is very close to Apple, and it is expected to surpass Apple in the near future.

For other brands, Xiaomi's market share is 9.5%, Honor's is 5.3%, and iFlytek's is 4.1%.

Overall, China's smart tablet market showed a steady growth trend in the third quarter of 2024, and the strong performance of domestic brands had a profound impact on the market structure.
