Beyond Identity: Survey shows 49% of Android users are considering switching to iPhone

According to a survey by information security service company Beyond Identy, 49% of Android users are considering switching to iPhone, mainly due to mobile phone security and privacy issues.

It is understood that the survey randomly surveyed 1,003 users, among which 76% of Apple users felt that the security performance of their mobile phones had improved, slightly higher than the 74% of Android users.

In terms of cloud services, 20% of iCloud users believe it is absolutely safe, but only 13% of Android users believe that Google's password manager is safe.

However, the number of people involved in this survey is relatively small, and all of them are American users, so the sample differentiation is not high enough. For American users, Apple, as a domestic mobile phone, is inevitably more in line with the local people's usage habits than the "imported" Samsung, and they are more trusted.

In fact, the experience gap in daily use of current smartphones is not particularly large. The main difference is the functions provided by the systems of various manufacturers. Privacy and security are Apple's strengths, but as the Android camp continues to optimize the system, the gap will further narrow.
