Do you feel like you haven't used your TV in a long time? Or are you dissatisfied with your cable TV, broadcast TV, etc.? Today, people have more choices in watching video content. With the impact of mobile Internet and broadband Internet, cable TV access is becoming increasingly dispensable. In Canada, people are canceling cable TV services, and landline phones are giving way to mobile communications. Convergence Consulting Group estimates that one in five Canadian households will use only wireless service in 2013, up from just 4 percent in 2012, and by 2015, 29.4 percent of households will rely solely on mobile phone service. This coincides with the increase in smartphone user penetration from 55% in 2012 to 66% in 2013. via: 199it@eMarketer |
