In the first few weeks of pregnancy, pregnant mothers often see the three words "gestational sac", "fetal bud fetal heart rate" and "fetal heartbeat". Many pregnant mothers do not know what the gestational sac, fetal bud fetal heart rate, and fetal heartbeat are. What does a small amount of embryo buds mean? A small number of fetal buds and fetal heartbeats indicate that the baby has not yet fully developed, so it is necessary to check after a dozen days to see whether it has developed healthily. As the pregnancy progresses, the embryo and fetal heart rate will also grow larger. Normally, the embryonic bud, fetal heart rate and fetal heartbeat can be seen in more than 50 days of pregnancy. Generally, the embryonic bud, fetal heart rate size is around 1.0. If the fetal heartbeat is not seen at this stage, there is a possibility of poor development. In other words, the embryonic bud, fetal heart rate and fetal heartbeat can be seen by color ultrasound examination. The small embryonic heart rate may be related to late ovulation and late pregnancy. You should follow up with B-ultrasound examination later. During the development stage of sperm and egg combination, the first two weeks are called fertilized eggs. After that, various organs are gradually formed. Before 8 weeks of pregnancy, it is called the embryo (or embryonic heartbeat); the third week of pregnancy to the fourth week of pregnancy is called the embryonic heartbeat period. The embryonic heartbeat is 0.5-1 cm in size and shaped like a small seahorse. Due to the growth of the embryo, the gestational sac is formed at 30-40 days, the embryonic heartbeat is formed at 40-50 days, and the fetal heartbeat is formed at 50-60 days. Therefore, the general B-ultrasound should be done at about 60 days. At this time, you can see whether the gestational sac, embryonic heartbeat, and fetal heartbeat are normal. Stages of development of the embryo The first month of pregnancy is the embryonic bud and fetal heart stage, and the growth rate of the new life during this period is the fastest in its life. On the second week of pregnancy, about 4 days after fertilization, the sperm and egg, which have broken down into a cell mass, travel along the bilateral fallopian tubes to the uterus. In the third week, the cell mass sheds its outer membrane in preparation for embryo implantation. In the fourth week, the blastocyst is firmly embedded in the uterus. At this stage, the prototypes of the fetal nervous system and circulatory organs have basically appeared, and the liver has begun to grow significantly from this stage; the prototypes of the eyes and nose have not yet formed, but the prototypes of the mouth and jaw can be seen; the umbilical cord of the fetus connected to the pregnant mother also begins to grow from this stage. |
