Citigroup: 2011 Tablet User Behavior Survey

According to a survey conducted by Citigroup in the United States, the United Kingdom and China, 62% of the 1,800 surveyed users believe that the tablets they purchase within 12 months will be used as "gadgets/gadgets", mainly as gifts, rather than replacing existing computers. Browsing the web, communication, social networking, "digital media" and e-books are still the main uses of tablets.

67% of the respondents used it for web browsing, and 55% for email and IM. Citi also found that iPad users are more willing to download more applications than other brands, and are also more willing to spend money.
