Lower abdominal pain after holding urine during pregnancy

Pregnant women may find it difficult to exercise gradually during pregnancy, so they are not very active in daily life. Once they have to urinate, many pregnant women may have the habit of holding it in and waiting until they feel like it. However, some pregnant women may experience abdominal pain after holding their urine. So, what should pregnant women do if they have lower abdominal pain after holding their urine?

First of all, if a pregnant woman feels some pain in her lower abdomen after holding her urine, then at this time, she should pay attention to rest for a while. Generally, the pain in the lower abdomen will subside in about ten minutes. This is because when you hold your urine, the pressure on the bladder is too high, so over time, it will cause pain, which will have any impact on the fetus.

Secondly, if the pregnant woman continues to experience lower abdominal pain after holding her urine and does not subside, she should go to the hospital for a check-up to see if there is inflammation or a urinary tract infection. At this time, because pregnant women cannot take medicine casually, they need to find ways to relieve the symptoms under the guidance of a doctor. They can also take some Chinese herbal medicines with less side effects for treatment.

In addition, women during pregnancy may experience frequent urination and urgency due to the gradual expansion of the fetus. At this time, it is best for pregnant women not to hold their urine and urinate immediately, which will cause physical discomfort. Especially in the late stages of pregnancy, women are prone to uterine contractions. If they hold their urine for a long time, it may stimulate the occurrence of uterine contractions.

Check whether it is an ectopic pregnancy: If you have abdominal pain in the early stages of pregnancy and there is bleeding before the location of the fetus is confirmed, and if the pregnancy lasts more than seven weeks and the gestational sac in the uterus cannot be seen through B-ultrasound, it may be an ectopic pregnancy. Further examination and confirmation is needed to prevent ectopic pregnancy from causing internal bleeding and seriously endangering life.

Solution to miscarriage: Abdominal pain in early pregnancy accompanied by abnormal vaginal bleeding, lower abdominal pain and other symptoms may be signs of miscarriage. The cause of miscarriage in the early stages of pregnancy may be abnormalities in the sex chromosomes or genetic genes of the test tube embryo itself; it may also be that the expectant mother suffers from autoimmune diseases such as diabetes, or has taken some medications, smoked, drank alcohol, etc.
