There are very obvious characteristics in every stage of pregnancy. However, many pregnant women are not aware of the basis for dividing the stages of pregnancy. So, how are the early, middle, late and final stages of pregnancy divided?

At different stages of a woman's pregnancy, the growth and development of the fetus has obvious characteristics. In order to grasp the different characteristics of women's pregnancy, medicine divides pregnancy into three stages, which are what we know as early, middle and late stages. In the early stages of pregnancy, the corresponding gestational weeks are 1-12 weeks, and in months are 1-3 months. This stage is the fetal formation period, and the test tube embryo will grow and develop into a fetus.

The second trimester of pregnancy refers to the 13th to 25th week of pregnancy, which is April to June in lunar calendar, and also one week. This belongs to the growth period of the fetus. At this stage, the fetus's brain, bones, internal organs and other organs will grow and develop rapidly.

The third trimester is from 26 to 40 weeks of pregnancy, which is from 6 months and 2 weeks to 10 months in terms of the month. This belongs to the development of the fetus during puberty. During this stage, the baby's organs and tissues will develop relatively well. For example, the skin will be firmer, and the body fat will increase. The fetal respiratory tract will be more complete, and the organs will also have different functions, which can lay a good foundation for birth.
