Can cervical adenocarcinoma be cured?

Can cervical adenocarcinoma be cured?

Cervical adenocarcinoma is a type of malignant disease. Many women often encounter gynecological problems, such as abnormal leucorrhea and even vaginal bleeding. These symptoms need to be taken seriously clinically, and cervical adenocarcinoma may also cause such symptoms. Therefore, when treating, we must also pay attention to the manifestations and severity of the disease. So can cervical adenocarcinoma be cured?

1. Cervical adenocarcinoma can cause great harm to the patient's body, and some symptoms will appear in the early stages of the disease, but many women do not pay attention to it and miss the best time for treatment. Therefore, if you experience abnormal leucorrhea or irregular vaginal bleeding, you should get checked immediately. If the disease is discovered in the early stages, most cases can be cured. Cervical adenocarcinoma is curable, but only if it is discovered in the early stages and the correct treatment is taken can the disease be cured; otherwise, there is no possibility of cure.

2. Cervical adenocarcinoma can also be cured. The prognosis of cervical glandular carcinoma is slightly worse than that of cervical squamous cell carcinoma However, whether it is cervical adenocarcinoma or squamous cell carcinoma, as long as it is discovered early, the prognosis is relatively good. Early cervical cancer can be treated with radical surgery, and many cases can be treated without recurrence, achieving the purpose of radical cure, that is, it can be cured. If it is in the middle or late stage and there is no opportunity for surgery, the possibility of cure through radiotherapy and chemotherapy is relatively small, because there is no particularly effective chemotherapy drug in clinical practice that can prevent recurrence of advanced cervical cancer after treatment.

3. Many cancers can be cured in their early stages, and the same is true for cervical adenocarcinoma. If surgery is performed in the early stages and the diseased tissue is directly removed, the cure rate is still very high. If it reaches the middle or late stage, it will be very difficult to treat and almost impossible to cure. Radiation therapy and chemotherapy are usually the only treatments that can control the disease, and in many cases they cannot prevent progression.
