How to grow high-yield peanuts in the open air? The best time to use the three-time peanut pesticide

Peanut planting is relatively common, and a complete high-yield field management model has been formed. Today, I will tell you about our local peanut planting. Peanuts themselves are not high-yield crops, and they have requirements for soil and other conditions. This is also the main reason why peanut planting cannot be promoted on a large scale. However, in recent years, with the refinement of field management, peanut production has increased significantly, and prices have also begun to rise, becoming a new way for farmers in some areas to get rich.

How to grow peanuts in the open air for high yield

1. Choose a site. Peanuts are suitable for growing in sandy soil. Deep plowing should be done before planting to make the soil soft and breathable, and to facilitate the peanut needles to penetrate the ground. After deep plowing, the land should be leveled and then ridged. Peanuts do not like waterlogging, so drainage must be done well.

2. Seed selection: It is not advisable to select seeds that are too full. It is best to select peanuts planted in summer (for example, peanuts on wheat stubble) for self-reservation. Peanuts with dead seedlings are not easy to save for seed. Peanuts with moldy shells on rainy days are not easy to save for seed. Such peanut seeds will die even if they sprout after planting.

3. Fertilize reasonably. Use decomposed farmyard manure and compound fertilizer as base fertilizer. Do not apply too much nitrogen fertilizer, as it will cause the peanut seedlings to fall over. Apply more phosphorus and potassium fertilizers to help increase the yield of peanuts. Pay attention to topdressing during the later growth process. Spray foliar fertilizer in the later stage to keep the leaves healthy, prevent premature aging, and promote large and full peanuts.

4. Choose the right planting time. In the past, there was a saying in our area that "peanuts should be planted when the Sophora japonica flowers bloom". At that time, peanuts were planted without plastic film. It was too early and the ground temperature was not high enough, so the seeds would rot easily. Now, peanuts are planted basically when the Sophora japonica trees have just grown flower spikes. Plastic film can increase the temperature, so the earlier they are planted, the fuller the peanuts will be when harvested in autumn, and the oil yield will be high.

5. Use chemical drugs rationally. Peanut pests include white grubs and wireworms, and diseases include root and stem rot (commonly known as rotten seedlings), brown spot disease, rust, etc. There are many special drugs for peanut diseases and pests on the market, which can be used symptomatically. Try not to plant peanuts in the same crop. You can rotate with corn, sweet potatoes, etc., or choose deep plowing when cultivating the land, which can effectively reduce diseases. Spraying dwarf pile hormone in the later stage can increase the weight of 100 peanuts.

The best time to use peanut three times medicine

1. The first time peanuts are sprayed with pesticides is from the 20th day of the seedling stage to before the peanuts bloom. At this time, the main purpose of spraying peanuts with pesticides is to nourish the peanut seedlings and prevent diseases and pests in the seedling stage. The pesticides are applied with more pyraclostrobin, brassinolide, and fenpropimorph, and mixed with some chelated calcium and molybdenum fertilizers to improve the resistance and root growth of peanuts in the seedling stage and resist repeated cropping.

2. The second spraying of peanuts is in the late flowering period of peanuts. It is mainly spraying some seferamide, oxathiapiprolin, pyraclostrobin mixed with chelated calcium. The function is to improve some resistance and prevent peanuts from growing wildly and vigorously. At the same time, it promotes the growth of rhizobia in peanut seedlings, reduces dependence on soil nitrogen fertilizers, and promotes the absorption of trace element fertilizers.

3. The third spraying of peanuts is mainly carried out about 20 days before the peanut harvest. Mainly spray some potassium dihydrogen phosphate, pyraclostrobin, carbendazim-methyl, mixed with some amino acids to supplement the water and fertilizer shortage caused by the weakened root absorption capacity of peanuts in the later stage. Applying it as foliar fertilizer is beneficial to improve the vitality of peanut seedlings and promote the growth of peanut fruits.

Tips for high peanut yields

To increase the yield of peanuts, you need to choose good seeds and soil environment, and you should plant them in ridges as much as possible. Ridge planting is conducive to improving the vitality of peanut seedlings and the permeability between seedlings, which is also helpful to increase the yield of peanuts. In the later stage of peanuts, topdressing should be done well. For example, the use of phosphorus and potassium fertilizers must be timely and sufficient, especially the amount of calcium fertilizer, which will affect the yield of peanuts. Of course, if you want to increase the yield of peanuts, you also need to do a good job in the prevention and control of diseases and pests. For some common diseases and pests, you need to spray pesticides in time for prevention, such as underground pests such as mole crickets and grubs. If the number per unit area is large, you need to irrigate the pesticides in time for prevention and control.
