First day of menstruation with bloody vaginal discharge

First day of menstruation with bloody vaginal discharge

It is non-menstrual bleeding. There are many reasons for non-menstrual bleeding, including ovulation bleeding, vaginitis, pelvic inflammatory disease, cervicitis, endometritis, uterine wall odor syndrome, and uterine fibroids. Intrauterine contraceptive ring placement, threatened abortion, ectopic pregnancy, gynecological malignant tumors, etc. It is recommended to go to the gynecology department of a regular hospital immediately to do routine leucorrhea examination, colposcopy, gynecological B-ultrasound and other corresponding examinations to find the cause of the disease and carry out targeted treatment. Normal leucorrhea should be colorless or milky white. You should develop a habit of observing the secretions on a regular basis. If you find any abnormalities, seek medical attention immediately.

If women's leucorrhea contains blood and is not cleared, it may cause inflammation of the cervix in the vagina. If a married woman has an IUD placed in her uterus during her growth period, she will not be able to rule out the side effects of the IUD. In this case, it is recommended to go to the hospital for a gynecological examination and colposcopy. If you have cervical erosion, it is recommended to do a cervical cytology test. Based on the test results, choose the corresponding treatment method. You can choose ablation treatment or surgical treatment of cervical erosion. If it is caused by irritation from the IUD, you can remove it.

The secretion contains blood, which is mainly caused by inflammation of the cervix. In this case, the secretions in the vagina are usually thicker, with a small amount of blood mixed in. If cervical hematoma or even edema is found during gynecological examination, it is recommended to culture the cervical secretions and perform drug sensitivity tests. Targeted treatment will achieve better results.

In addition, it is also necessary to eliminate the mutations of cervical epithelial cells, so cervical cancer screening is required. If the screening result is negative, active anti-infection treatment is sufficient. However, as a woman, if you have a 3-year history of sexual intercourse or are over 30 years old, you must undergo cervical cancer screening once a year. If the test result is negative for 3 consecutive years, cervical cancer screening can be done once every 3 years.
