Pregnant women with high absolute neutrophil count

A high percentage of monocytes in pregnant women is something we often see during pregnancy checkups. This is a sign of inflammation. If the inflammation is severe, it will cause a high percentage of monocytes in pregnant women. In this case, we must seek medical treatment and reduce inflammation in time, otherwise it will cause greater harm and is not good for our health.

A high percentage of monocytes in pregnant women is something that happens frequently during pregnancy. It is a manifestation of inflammation. If the inflammation is more severe, the percentage of monocytes in pregnant women will be higher. We must seek medical treatment and reduce inflammation in time, otherwise more and more cells will be affected, which is bad for our health.

Monocytes are one of the white blood cells that have the function of ingesting bacteria and sterilizing them, and are related to the body's defense and anti-infection process. For example, when there are too many white blood cells, especially with an increase in monocytes, it can better indicate inflammation in the human body, which is manifested as acute bacterial infection.

In stained blood smears, the nucleus of monocytes is colorless or very light red, with many diffusely distributed fine red or lavender granules. The cytoplasm is rod-shaped or has 2 to 5 leaves, which are connected by thin strips. Monocytes have chemotactic, inflammatory mediator and antibacterial effects. Monocytic cells originate from the bone marrow and have mitotic or rod-shaped nuclei. The cell nucleus has many neutral granules and is neither alkaliphilic nor eosinophilic. These particles are mainly lysosomes, which contain rich enzymes such as lactate dehydrogenase, lysozyme, alkaline phosphatase and acid-base hydrolase, which are related to the inflammatory and digestive functions of cells.

The rate of monocyte increase is not very high, which should be caused by some mild somatic cell infection and inflammation. If a pregnant woman suffers from a rheumatic disease such as rheumatoid arthritis, she may have high monocytes.

Based on the current ratio of monocytes to monocytes, the presence of serious diseases such as sepsis and septicemia can be ruled out. The decrease in the proportion of monocytes and reticulocytes is due to a decrease in the proportion caused by the expansion of monocytes rather than a decrease in their basic total number.

In general, the reasons for the high percentage of monocytes in pregnancy will be introduced in detail. The high percentage of monocytes in pregnant women will affect the condition of the fetus during pregnancy. If we find that the proportion of maternal mononuclear cells is high, we must cooperate with our doctors to actively treat, improve and regulate our health so that we can have a safe and healthy pregnancy.
