Menstrual cramps during early pregnancy

Menstrual cramps during early pregnancy

In the early stages of pregnancy, women's pregnancy reactions are more obvious. Many women know that after pregnancy, they will more commonly have abdominal pain, which is like menstrual pain. In fact, abdominal pain in early pregnancy may be caused by a variety of reasons. As a pregnant woman, you must pay close attention to the abdominal pain and never neglect it.

There are many reasons for abdominal pain in early pregnancy. Some of them are normal physiological phenomena. Generally, physiological abdominal pain is not very serious and the onset time is also very short. It is mainly caused by the enlargement of the uterus during pregnancy and the involvement of the uterine ligaments, which generally does not affect daily life. Abdominal pain is caused by unstable position. If there is no organic lesion after examination, then there is no need for treatment at all. Abdominal pain in early pregnancy is more common in:

1. Threatened abortion: Patients with threatened abortion may experience abdominal pain and sometimes flushing.

2. Patients with ectopic pregnancy generally experience abdominal pain, but most of the time it is pain on one side. In addition, irregular vaginal bleeding may also occur.

3. Patients with organic diseases, ovarian cysts, and uterine fibroids must seek medical attention as soon as possible if the symptoms are severe and last for a long time and are accompanied by bleeding.

In the early stages of pregnancy, some abdominal pain is physiological, that is, a normal reaction caused by pregnancy, but some is indeed physiological and may herald the occurrence of problems such as miscarriage.

1. Physiological abdominal pain. In the early stages of pregnancy, many pregnant women always feel some stomach pain, sometimes accompanied by early pregnancy reactions such as vomiting. This is mainly caused by increased gastric juice metabolism in the early stages of pregnancy. At this time, you should pay attention to diet adjustment. The diet should be light in taste and easy to digest. You can have some toasted steamed bread slices or soda crackers for breakfast. As the early stages of pregnancy pass, the discomfort will naturally subside.

2. Physiological abdominal pain. If you experience abdominal pain in early pregnancy, especially lower abdominal pain, you should first consider whether it is an indication for cesarean section. Common complications include threatened miscarriage and ectopic pregnancy.
