Easier pregnancy after cervical conization

Easier pregnancy after cervical conization

There is no practical impact on pregnancy after cervical conization, because if you want to get pregnant successfully, you first need to see whether the ovulation period is normal, and whether there is any abnormality in the condition of the bilateral fallopian tubes, whether there is inflammation or blockage. If there are problems in these aspects, they must be treated in time, and only after they are restored can pregnancy be successful. The so-called cervical conization has no effect on pregnancy and is not likely to make pregnancy more likely. There is no scientific reason for such a name.

The risk of cervical lesions does not increase after cervical conization. The main risk factors for cervical lesions are genetic factors, multiple sexual partners, unhealthy lifestyles, and patients being infected with high-risk human papillomavirus16,18. Cervical conization surgery itself is a diagnostic and therapeutic effect for cervical cancer. It is usually performed when high-grade intraepithelial neoplasia or carcinoma in situ occurs in the cervix. Cervical conization surgery can remove the diseased site and send the removed tissue for pathological examination to determine whether cervical cancer has occurred in the cervical canal, which is beneficial for the diagnosis or prevention of cervical cancer.

Cervical conization surgery is not likely to cause cervical lesions, it is a treatment method. Generally speaking, cervical conization is a diagnostic cone biopsy, which can not only remove the diseased part of the cervix to prevent the occurrence of cervical cancer, but also send the removed tissue for pathological examination to determine whether the removed tissue has cervical cancer. If the final pathological results of the cone-cut tissue are the same as before the operation, and the cutting edge is not positive, then the surgical treatment is completed and the patient can be followed up for half a year to a year. If there were problems with the tissue before, or the cutting edge was positive, further surgical treatment will be required.

Cervical conization is a method used to further confirm the diagnosis and treatment of cervical diseases. It is applicable to those who are suspected of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) grade II or III after cervical cytology and colposcopy; those who are suspected of early invasive cervical cancer or carcinoma in situ. Postoperative pathological examination indicates that patients with positive cervical margins have a high probability of disease progression and recurrence, and require further hysterectomy. Therefore, cervical conization will not easily lead to postoperative lesions.
