Is hcg2000 more than ectopic pregnancy

Is hcg2000 more than ectopic pregnancy

Whether it is an ectopic pregnancy or not, it is necessary to continuously check the HCG value to distinguish. In the early stages of pregnancy, the blood HCG test value in a normal pregnancy doubles, but ectopic pregnancy does not have this feature, which can be used as a basis for identification.

How much is hcg? ectopic pregnancy

The hCG value of ectopic pregnancy is the same as that of intrauterine pregnancy, because only the site of embryo implantation is different, and the early development of sperm and egg combination is the same, so the HCG values in the blood and urine are the same.

The hcg value of ectopic pregnancy can be judged as a pregnancy reaction, that is, the early stage of pregnancy, but the hcg value cannot be used as a basis for the diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy. The diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy also needs to be determined based on further test results.

What is the range of hCG value for ectopic pregnancy? Diagnosis method: First, B-ultrasound examination, through B-ultrasound examination to determine the location of the gestational sac, and at the same time check whether it is an ectopic pregnancy; second, test the hCG value again every two days. Under normal circumstances of pregnancy, the hCG value will double every two days, that is, after two days, your hCG value should be in the range of 500-1000 under normal circumstances, indicating that your embryo is growing normally and is not an ectopic pregnancy; if the hCG value rises or decreases slowly, the probability of ectopic pregnancy is relatively large, and you should pay attention to it.

How to diagnose ectopic pregnancy

When ectopic pregnancy does not result in miscarriage or rupture, the clinical symptoms are not obvious, and the diagnosis is difficult, and auxiliary tests are required for diagnosis.

After miscarriage or rupture of an ectopic pregnancy, diagnosis is usually not difficult. If there are difficulties, the changes in the condition should be carefully observed. If vaginal bleeding persists, abdominal pain worsens, pelvic mass expands, and hemoglobin concentration shows a downward trend, these are helpful for diagnosis. The following tests can also be used to help diagnose:

1. hCG measurement: Urine or blood hCG is particularly important for the early diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy. In ectopic pregnancy, the patient's body hCG level is lower than that in intrauterine pregnancy. Continuously measure blood hCG. If the growth time exceeds 7 days, the possibility of ectopic pregnancy is very high; if the growth time is less than 1.4 days, the possibility of ectopic pregnancy is very small.

2. Progesterone determination: The measurement of blood cell progesterone levels is helpful in determining the growth and development status of normal pregnancy test tube embryos. In ectopic pregnancy, the blood cell progesterone level is slightly lower, mostly between 10-25ng/ml. If the blood cell progesterone > 25ng/ml, the probability of ectopic pregnancy is less than 1.5%; if its value is < 5ng/ml, intrauterine pregnancy, miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy should be considered.

3. Confirmed by B-ultrasound: If no gestational sac is detected in the uterine cavity, but an abnormal hypoechoic area is detected beside the uterus, and the fetal bud and the initial primitive heart tube beat are seen, ectopic pregnancy can be diagnosed. If there is a mixed echo area and mineral acid shadow in the uterine duodenal fossa during parauterine exploration, even if no embryo or fetal heartbeat is seen, ectopic pregnancy should be highly suspected.

Combining blood hCG measurement with color Doppler ultrasound examination is of great help in the diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy. When blood hCG>2000IU/L and no gestational sac is seen in the uterine cavity by intravaginal ultrasound, the diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy is basically established.
