How long does it take to tell the gender of a baby by looking at its complexion?

Can I check the sex of the fetus while I am pregnant? The state has clearly stipulated that it is a violation of discipline to identify the sex of the fetus for non-medical purposes. Any organization or individual may not conduct fetal sex identification assessments for non-medical purposes, and it is also prohibited to use any method to identify the sex of the fetus. However, there are some "traditional methods" that can roughly predict and analyze the gender of the fetus, such as how long after pregnancy can you tell the gender of the baby by looking at the complexion?

How long does it take to tell a man from a woman based on his complexion?

In fact, it is impossible to tell the gender of the fetus by looking at the complexion, and there is no scientific evidence to identify the gender of the fetus based on pregnancy phenomena.

However, there are still many other "earth" methods that can predict the gender of the fetus.

1. If the fetal heart rate is less than 140 beats/minute, it is a boy; if it is higher than 140 beats/minute, it is a girl.

Girls have higher heart rates than boys, but this is only true right after birth. There is no difference between the heart rates of boys and girls in the fetus. The heart rate only changes with the gestational age. At about 5 weeks of pregnancy, the fetus' heartbeat is close to the parents' heart rate, which is 80 to 85 beats per minute. Then until the 9th week of pregnancy, the heart rate slowly increases to 170-200 beats per minute. Then during the middle of pregnancy, it slowly slows down to 120~160 beats/minute.

2. Dark nipples mean a boy

The color of the nipples is affected by hormones in the body. During pregnancy, the body's corpus luteum and melanocyte-stimulating hormone increase, causing some originally dark areas on the body surface to become darker. These areas will quickly recover after delivery, and this phenomenon has nothing to do with the identification of the sex of the fetus.

3. Giving birth to a daughter in the morning

A survey of 5,900 pregnant women who were hospitalized due to severe morning sickness in early pregnancy found that 56% of these pregnant women gave birth to girls and 44% gave birth to boys. However, for pregnant women who suffer from severe morning sickness in the second half of pregnancy, the gender ratio of their babies is similar to the normal ratio.
